Hong Kong stars singing for Japan

The video I saw few days ago on TV and this is really heartwarming.

But doesn't "makezu" mean "losing"? So I guess this song says everything loses, Japan wins??? Haha, help me, I'm not good in Japanese XD

Oh and I quite coincidentally saw this video after reading about the rumor that Jackie Chan passed away. It was like, "Jackie Chan cannot die~" and then "Look! He's on TV!" XD
